Peak

Well, I'm afraid Miles peaked too soon.  He rolled over at 3 months and 3 days and just hasn't done anything significant since.  Ok, that's a little harsh maybe, but you know what I mean.  I just really thought he'd impress us all by crawling... or at least be sitting up by now.  He's even a little behind on the sitting up thing -- Baby Center just sent me the email asking if he's doing it yet.  Oh the pressure!!  Not that I'm worried about him at all - I know he'll get there in his own time (and he is pretty darn close) but I'm just excited for all the new fun things he'll be able to do when he finally does sit up and start crawling.  Bath time will be SO much easier for one.  As will going out to eat - we can just plop him in the highchair with some toys and watch him go to town.  But for now, we put him in the highchair and stuff it with a blanket and still have to keep readjusting him as he slouches all over the place.

Good thing I'm this cute, right guys?

It's pretty smart actually.  He's like - I've got my whole life to sit up and be responsible,  I'm totally chillaxin for now!

Who wants to sit up when this is so much more comfortable!

I mean in all honesty who would bother sitting up when his mommy holds him all day long??

And I know everyone says be careful what you wish for - once they start crawling it's all downhill from there.  But I think Miles will just be so excited to be on the move.  And I don't mind chasing him (preparing to eat my words in 5...4...3...).  Plus I plan on getting one of those baby leashes!  Just kidding, I would never.   (I hope.)

Nana - come back so you can hold me!!

In other news - we've moved on to size 2 diapers.  Not that exciting news... but it does make me wanna cry... :(  Mostly because the bigger the diapers... the bigger the POOP!!!!
