Beaba

I just want to mention how much I LOVE making baby food for Miles.  When a friend recommended the Beaba baby food maker I thought it sounded really cool so I registered for it.  I loved the idea of Miles having fresh food that I made for him.  Plus, making your own food is supposed to be a lot less expensive and I love saving money!  But, I didn't really think I'd get it (thanks again SFD group, are any of you even reading this?) so I didn't worry too much about all the work I'd have to do.

Let me just set the record straight though -- making baby food sounds like a ton more work than it actually is.  I had no idea it would be this easy.  Granted, so far I've only made a few simple things with one ingredient, but it takes all of 5 minutes to chop up carrots or two apples or a sweet potato.  Then the Beaba thing does the steaming.

Then it's 2 minutes of blending and 2 minutes to divide it in the handy baby food cups the SFD team also bought for me.  And wha-la!  Miles has fresh food for a week!

I'm not sure if it's the Beaba food processor that makes it super easy.  Or if it's just pretty easy to puree some veggies.  But either way I know one baby who's appreciative!
